Why We Honour Dr. Ambedkar

Dr. Ambedkar's life is a beacon for those who believe in justice and equity. Commemorating Ambedkar Jayanti – 2025

This year, AIM Foundation marked Ambedkar Jayanti with a series of inclusive events and community-driven initiatives aimed at educating, empowering, and uplifting.
Key Highlights:

Garlanding Ceremony & Speeches: The day began with a respectful floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait. This was followed by speeches from scholars, social activists, and youth leaders who spoke about Babasaheb’s legacy and relevance in today’s India.

Educational Workshops: We hosted awareness sessions on the Indian Constitution, fundamental rights, and social justice. These workshops especially focused on students from marginalized communities, encouraging them to follow Ambedkar's path of education and empowerment.

Essay & Art Competitions: To foster creative engagement with Ambedkar’s ideals, children and young adults participated in essay writing, debates, and painting competitions on themes like “Ambedkar’s Dream for India” and “Eradicating Discrimination through Education.”

Community Dialogue Circles: We organized open forums where people shared personal stories of struggle and resistance, fostering a sense of unity and collective empowerment — the very spirit of Ambedkar’s fight against inequality.
